Thank you for sharing your experience on the train. I think with any trip, sometimes things work out and are amazing and other times there are hiccups. I hope you had an amazing trip otherwise.

We did this train trip, in December 2019, and it was "interesting"! From Helsinki to Rovaniemi was great. Everything was like clockwork. We had the sleeper with ensuit. But on the return trip, we waited an hour in the line up for the dining carriage, just to get some snacks, so I would suggest bringing your own. Also, there was a horrid toilet smell in the whole carriage and we were told we couldn't use the toilet facilities in our ensuite, and instead had to use the communal toilet at the end of the carriage. There was a line up and so had to wait.... Of course there was no compensation for this inconvenience. The trip itself was an adventure and I'm glad we did it, but next time will either be more prepared with our own food, or fly.

Thank you for featuring our favorite restaurant when visiting the Bar Harbor area!!! Gateway Lunts Lobster Pound is a must stop on the way to Bar Harbor. Located just past the Bar Harbor Airport, on the right side of the road. This restaurant has the best, sweetest, fresh lobster without the high price in bar harbor. They have a full menu and beer /wine.

Used your Panda Craft idea for my homeschool co-op animals class and the kids loved it.
Not sure if I missed it but a pdf to download and print the panda template would be helpful. I had to use snipping tool and figure out how make them the right sizes to go together.

Hi Chelsea thank you so much for your blog it’s amazing and full of useful information for families with children.
If you were about to chose which trail in Plitvice lakes was nicer with regards to nature and stunning lake views , which one would you pick - trail A or E ? We are planning to come with our 4 years old just for one day and cannot decide which out of the two to chose. Many thanks 😊

Enjoyed my stay in Bled with my son's family which included an 18 month old and 4 year old last September. We did pretty much the same itinerary except with more mountain hiking. My son and his wife, with a 4:40 am start, were also able to climb Triglav in a day while I babysat the children in a lovely Bled park. It was an amazing trip! (The 4 year old loved Bled's Dinasaur Park!)

Thanks for writing! Definitely important to bring the write kind of adapter when visiting a foreign country. It's also good to bring along a battery pack just in case your adapter has issues. My battery pack was a life saver on my trip to South Africa.
